Betty B. Elrod is a Nashville-based artist and jewelry designer whose work bridges fine art and wearable design. With a background in studio art and art history from the College of Charleston, her practice spans sculpture, performance, and jewelry.
Her work has been exhibited across the United States, including in cities such as San Francisco and Charleston, and is known for its sculptural, abstract approach to form and material.
In 2017, she founded Blue Smoke Fine Jewelry, creating handcrafted pieces in sterling silver and 14k gold, incorporating semi-precious gemstones and organic textures inspired by nature.
In 2025, she opened the first Blue Smoke Jewelry retail location in Germantown, Nashville—a space that brings together her jewelry collections, custom design services, permanent jewelry, and curated boutique offerings.
